Curriculum

Introduction: A Smoother Way to Get Licensed: This course is designed for students who are ready to take their official Louisiana road test—but want to skip the stress, delays, and confusion of the OMV. With our state-certified third-party examiners, you’ll get clear expectations, a calm testing environment, and fast results.

Age 16: Must have had your Learner's Permit for at least 180 days before road testing with us. Must present the student's birth certificate and learner's permit. One parent (listed on the birth certificate) must be present and with their ID. The parent must sign an affidavit at the OMV, stating that the teen applicant completed 50 hours of driving (15 of which were at night). Must present the High School enrollment form to the DMV.

Age 17: May take immediately after completing a driver education course and presenting a driving school certificate to us. Must present the student's birth certificate. A parent listed on the birth certificate must be present and provide their identification. Must have a High School enrollment form or diploma.

Age 18 & Up: May take immediately after completing the required driver training course and present the driving school certificate to us. Present state approved ID.

Requirements & Documentation Review: Before testing, we ensure all your paperwork is in order. Our staff walks you through the documentation needed based on your age and driving history, so you arrive fully prepared.

From TIP cards to affidavits and parent signatures, we make the process simple and stress-free—even if you're not familiar with OMV rules.

Note:  Students who are physically and/or mentally handicapped must go to the OMV for their Road Skills Test. The Road Skills Test is non-refundable. Please call ahead for available dates and times.

Vehicle Walkthrough & Final Prep: We review basic vehicle safety checks and test expectations, ensuring you're mentally and physically ready. You'll meet your examiner and get a quick recap of what’s about to happen.

This short prep session helps reduce test anxiety and sets the tone for a calm, focused drive.

Official Road Skills Test: Administered by our licensed third-party examiner, this test evaluates all OMV-required driving maneuvers in a real-world setting.

Course Fee: $70
$40 for the road skills test • $30 for school vehicle use/Instructor Fee
