What You’ll Learn

  • Defensive Driving Mastery: Learn to anticipate, identify, and react to potential hazards on the road before they become a danger, a core skill taught from an officer's perspective.

  • Behind-the-Wheel Instruction: Complete 8 hours of state-approved driving routes in structured lessons designed to build skill and confidence.

  • Test Preparedness & Lifelong Habits: Master both the state’s written and driving exam requirements (minimum 80% to pass) while building habits that promote safety and confidence well beyond test day.

Curriculum

Introduction: Building a Foundation for a Lifetime of Safe Driving: This course goes beyond passing the written test. It's about teaching your teen how to survive the road—with instruction led by a veteran police officer who’s seen what happens when drivers aren’t prepared.

We combine classroom knowledge with hands-on training to help your teen become not just a licensed driver, but a safe and responsible one. From defensive driving principles to real-world situational awareness, this course is designed to give both students and parents peace of mind.

Lesson 1: Classroom Foundations & State Exam Prep: Over the course of four full days (8 AM–4 PM), students dive into essential topics like traffic laws, road signs, and driver responsibility—all presented in an engaging, officer-led environment.

On the final day, students take the state-approved written test. Our instruction goes beyond memorization—teaching the “why” behind the rules to create smarter, safer drivers from day one.

Lesson 2: Behind-the-Wheel Practice & Traffic Skills: Once classroom training is complete, your teen will complete four private 2-hour driving sessions tailored to their skill level. Each one is guided by a veteran officer who knows how to coach safely and effectively.

Students practice in real traffic conditions—navigating turns, lane changes, parking, and intersections. With expert feedback and repetition, this lesson builds the confidence needed to take control of the vehicle and stay focused on the road.

Lesson 3: Parental Partnership & Final Prep: We believe driving education is a team effort. That’s why we keep parents informed every step of the way—sharing progress, setting clear expectations, and offering tips to support learning at home.

As your teen nears completion, we ensure they’re not just eligible for a license—but truly ready for the responsibility that comes with it. You'll know when they’re prepared, and so will they.
